KSD307 Temperature Control Switch Thermostat

KSD307 series temperature controller is a bimetallic sheet contact temperature sensing relay with a fully closed shell. According to the principle of thermal expansion and cold contraction, the metal sheet will be bent so as to achieve the maximum jump and switch in the pre-set temperature range, which plays an important role in the safety protection of electrical appliances. The disconnect temperature and reset temperature can be made according to customers’ requirements.

KSD307 series of 1/2 "(13mm) self-hold bimetallic disc thermostat provides time-tested reliability in a wide range of applications. The self-hold construction incorporates a PTC heater that is located throughout the electrical position of the contacts. When the contacts are closed, the PTC heater is shunt and therefore not energized. When the contacts are open, the PTC heater is connected to the load in series and energized to keep the temperature sensitive bimetal in an actuated state. To reset the temperature sensing control, power to the device must be cycled off to allow sufficient time for the component to cool down to a temperature below the bimetal switch reset point.

1. Grounding mode: The metal shell of the thermostat is connected to the grounding metal parts of the device.

 

2. The thermostat shall work in the general indoor environment where the relative humidity of the air is no more than 90% and there is no corrosive gas, combustible gas and conductive dust.

 

3. When the thermostat adopts contact temperature sensing, the cover shall be close to the heating part of the controlled device, and the thermal conductive silicone grease or other thermal conductive medium with similar properties shall be coated on the thermal sensing surface of the cover.

 

4. Do not collapse or deform the top of the cover to avoid changes in operating temperature or other performance.

 

5. Do not let the liquid seep into the thermostat! The shell must avoid excessive force to prevent cracks; The shell should be kept clean to prevent pollution from conductive substances, so as to avoid short-circuit breakdown due to the reduction of insulation performance.

 

6. Do not bend the terminal during use, otherwise the reliability of electrical connection will be affected.
