Temperature Characteristics:
According to different temperature actuation characteristics, there are 4 operating types as follows:
1. Normal type: OFF temperature is higher than ON temperature.
2. K type: ON temperature is higher than OFF temperature.
3. Manual reset type: The thermostat switches on at room temperature and i won't be able to reset after disconnection without manual help.
4. One-shot type: The thermostat switches on at room temperature and it won't be able to reset after switching off.

KSD301 Terminal Types
KSD301 series snap action thermostat is a small-size bimetallic thermostat series with a metal cap, belonging to thermal relays' family. Using the principle that the dish-type bimetallic sheet can produce instantaneous jump under the action of temperature, the contact can act quickly through the inside structure, so as to disconnect or connect the circuit. Pressing the reset lever if need to reconnect the power. The main characteristics are the fixation of working temperature, no need adjustment, reliable and simple snap action, small arc, less flashover, long service life and less radio interference.
Working Principle
When the appliance is at the normal working state, the bimetallic sheet is in the free state and the contact is at closed / open state. When the temperature reaches a certain level which is the operating temperature, the contact will get opened / closed, and then the circuit will be cut / closed. When the electric appliance cools down and reset the temperature, the contact will automatically close / open and return to the normal working state. That is how thermostat controls the temperature and protect the circuit.

1. Do not collapse, loosen or deform the top of cover surface during installation to avoid affecting performance.
2. Do not allow liquid to penetrate into the interior of the thermostat or crack the housing. But we also have wateproof type. Welcome for inquiry.
3. The thermal swtich should be stored in a place with RH less than 90% and ambient temperature less than 40 ℃, which is ventilated, clean and dry.
Installation Instruction
1. Method of earth: By means of the metal cup of thermostat connected in the earthing metal part.
2. The thermostat should work in environment with humidity not higher than 90%, free of caustic, flammable gas and conducting dust.
3. When the thermostat is used to sense the temperature of solid items, its cover should be closed to the heating part of such items. at the same time, heat-conducting silicon grease, or other heat media of similar nature, should be applied to the cover's surface.
4. If the thermostat is used to sense the temperature of liquids or steam, it is strongly recommended to adopt a version with stainless-steeled cup. in addition, cautious measures should be taken to prevent liquids getting into/onto the thermostat's insulation parts.
5. The top of the cup must not be pressed into the sink, so as to avoid adversing effect on the thermostat's temperature sensitivity or other functions.
6. Liquids must be kept out of the thermostat's inside part! The base must avoid any force that could lead to crack; it should be kept clear and away from the pollution of electric substance to prevent insulation weakening that leads to short-circuited damages.
7. The terminals should be bent, or else, the reliability of electric connection will be influenced.
