Product introduction

E511, E512 and E513 belong to Type 1, automatic reset type circuit breaker. Cabinet is made of metal. E511 is stud mount type. E512 is horizontal bracket mount while E513 is vertical bracket mount type. The overcurrent circuit breaker is a bimetallic structure that can quickly shut down the electric vehicle's circuit when it becomes overloaded to protect the entire circuit.

Installation notice:

The silver column (AUX) represents going in and the copper column (BAT) represents going out. They only protect 1 way. The studs are labeled for battery and source. The gold stud is the battery stud.

Be aware that the two threaded studs of the circuit breaker cannot touch metal. The studs are carrying battery voltage and must be insulated from anything conductive including the metal fender.

E511, E512 and E513 circuit breakers are Type 1, Auto reset breakers. The automatic reset means that the breaker self-resets without any help from users.

So breakers will provide continuous protection until the overcurrent is found and corrected. Then it automatically resets.

The breaker will trip (disconnect the power) when it detects the overload current. It will self-reset.
