Product Description
Micro2 Automotive Blade Fuses, also known as ATR or ATL fuses, are compact blade-style fuses commonly used in automotive applications. They are designed to protect electrical circuits from overloads and short circuits.
Micro2 car fuses have a plastic housing with two blade terminals extending from one end. The blade terminals are usually made of zinc alloy or copper. These fuses are color-coded based on their ampere rating for easy identification.
1. Size and Design: Micro2 fuses are compact and have a rectangular shape. They are smaller than standard blade fuses and mini blade fuses, allowing for space-saving installations in tight areas.
2. Blade Terminals: ATL fuses feature two blade terminals on one end, which are used for electrical connections. The terminals are typically made of materials like zinc alloy or copper, ensuring good conductivity and durability.

3. Current Ratings: ATR fuses are available in a wide range of ampere ratings, typically ranging from 5A to 30A or higher. The ampere rating indicates the maximum current that the fuse can carry without tripping or blowing.
4. Color-Coded: To facilitate easy identification, micro2 fuses are color-coded based on their ampere ratings. Each ampere rating corresponds to a specific color, making it convenient to select the right fuse for a particular circuit.
5. Protection: Like other fuses, micro2 fuses are designed to protect electrical circuits from overloads and short circuits. When the current exceeds the fuse's rating, the internal element or wire within the fuse melts, causing an open circuit and disconnecting the power supply. This action helps prevent damage to the circuit and its components.

How to install
1. Identify the Correct Fuse: Ensure that you have the correct micro2 fuse with the appropriate ampere rating for the circuit you are working on. The ampere rating is typically indicated by the color of the fuse body.
2. Power Off: Before installing or replacing a fuse, it's crucial to turn off the power supply to the circuit you're working on. This step helps prevent electrical shocks and damage to the components.
3. Locate the Fuse Box: Micro2 Automotive Blade Fuses are typically housed in a fuse box or panel. Locate the fuse box in your vehicle or equipment. Consult the owner's manual or a wiring diagram if you're unsure about the fuse box's location.
4. Access the Fuse: Open the fuse box cover to expose the fuses. Some fuse boxes may have clips, latches, or screws that need to be undone to access the fuses. Follow the instructions provided for your specific vehicle or equipment.
5. Remove the Old Fuse (If Applicable): If you are replacing an existing fuse, grip the fuse firmly between your fingers or use a fuse puller tool if available. Gently pull the fuse straight out of its socket. Be careful not to damage the fuse or the fuse box.
6. Insert the New Fuse: Take the new micro2 auto fuse and align it with the corresponding socket in the fuse box. Ensure that the blade terminals of the fuse match the contacts in the socket. Push the fuse straight into the socket until it is securely seated.
7. Close the Fuse Box: Once the new fuse is in place, close the fuse box cover and secure it properly. Make sure the cover is latched or fastened securely to protect the fuses and prevent accidental contact.
8. Power On: After the fuse is installed and the fuse box is closed, you can restore power to the circuit. Turn on the ignition or reconnect the power supply, depending on the specific application.
Application
1. Automotive Electrical Systems: Micro2 fuses are extensively employed in automotive electrical systems to protect circuits from overloads and short circuits. They can be found in systems such as lighting (headlights, taillights, interior lights), audio systems, power windows, power seats, windshield wipers, climate control systems, and more.
2. Motorcycles and Motorized Vehicles: fuses are also used in motorcycles, ATVs, boats, and other motorized vehicles. They provide protection for various electrical components and systems within these vehicles, similar to their application in automotive systems.
3. Electronics and Appliances: Micro2 fuses find applications in electronic devices and appliances that require circuit protection. They can be used in small electronics, power tools, household appliances, and other similar applications.
4. Industrial Equipment: Micro2 Automotive Blade Fuses are utilized in industrial equipment and machinery, where they protect electrical circuits from overloads and short circuits. They are commonly employed in control panels, motor controls, power distribution systems, and other industrial applications.
5. Recreational Vehicles (RVs): The fuses are commonly found in RVs, campers, and trailers. They safeguard various electrical systems within these vehicles, including lighting, HVAC systems, refrigerators, water pumps, and entertainment systems.
