These resettable fuses are polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) device, which is used to help protect against harmful overcurrent surges and overtemperature faults.

1. PPTC fuses provide overcurrent protection by increasing their resistance when the current exceeds a certain threshold. This increase in resistance limits the current flow and helps prevent damage to sensitive components or the circuit itself.
